  • I also wonder if the fungi in the system would help aerate the roots, because fungi breathes CO2 and exhales 02. Have thought about mixing growing mushrooms with vegetables/fruits, because of that.

  • You think peas would fix nitrogen in a hydroponic system? Would the nitrogen fixing bacteria be present and would it be beneficial for the system, for the other plants or for combating bad bacteria? Would they still fix nitrogen if they were getting enough from the hydroponic nutrients?
